The end
I’ve decided to discontinue the blog. I’m sorry for letting you guys down.
kikilicous asked: Yeah basically XD Even though I love AWL's ending :P
Yeah his ending is alright I suppose. But it just leaves me feeling:
“Oh, thats it? After ALL that you’re going to just run off? Really?” I guess the Leroux version, or any death - related version really, feels completed to me. You know?
God, I sound morbid.
This is basically what I thought when this came through my inbox
:B
kikilicous asked: Also, in regards to the pervious question, LND could be considered a "what if" kind of story. Take that into accoutn as well.
ALW’s ending to phantom is a “What if” as well.
What if Erik never died? Christine gets shot instead lol.
Anonymous asked: question about LND/phantom: the only time christine and phantom would have been able to have sex (to my knowledge) is during music of the night. then he disappeared for "6 months" (says masquerade). so if she got pregnant, she would DEFINITELY be showing by her 6th month of pregnancy. so how is it even possible that gustave is the phantom's child?
Because ALW moved it so that they slept together after the events of Phantom of the Opera; The night before Christine’s wedding. Then that could be covered up by the fact Raoul and Christine probably had sex during their wedding night, so she could say that it is his child. But by then she had been impregnated by Erik.
However, a lot of people don’t show for a while. My friend didn’t really have a bump until she was 7 - 8 months into her pregancy; Even then the bump was quite small. So it could be possible to happen during MotN, however I doubt Raoul is not that stupid to believe that Christine would only be pregant for three months with his child, as they probably got married after the final lair scene.
Hope this helps!
Anonymous asked: How many submissions do you have?
I have a cue of six at the moment, as I’m going away soon xD
Do they even have a zone for that?
“You just got erikzoned”
Catherine Hardwicke in talk for new “Phantom” movie!?
Wait.
WHAT?
Well, I’ve just got linked to an article about this! I’d thought i’d share since yah know, NEW FREAKIN’ PHANTOM MOVIE? Here’s most of it:
After the success of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Phantom of the Opera’ and ‘Love never dies’ Universal studios are considering taking on board the ‘Twilight’ and ‘Red Riding Hood’ director to introduce the orginal tale to a fresh audience.
The story - orginally published as a newspaper serial by french novelist Gaston Leroux - Is a tale of Opera Chrisitne Daae’s dark adventure with a mysterious figure that haunts the Opera itself. Although it went out of print numerous times in previous years; the book itself has been adapted numerous times in film, TV series and of course, musicals. However; after the backlash from the last 2004 adaption of the musical from critics and the fan - base alike, executives are reluctant to make the movie an musical affair or to adapt ‘Love never dies’ as they wish to go back to the roots that saw then - major stars Lon Chaney and Claude Rains play the disfigured genius.
Although little has been confirmed, Universal is considering to release it during autumn/winter of 2014.
…
OH GOD. I sincerly hope that they reconsider Catherine Hardwicke as the director though, I mean… she brought the trainwreck that is Twilight to our screens. What the hell would she do with Phantom? Has anyone got anymore info on this? D:
Anonymous asked: is there a download or dvd of ramin and sierras LND?
There’s no dvd for Ramin and Sierra’s LND that I know of, but i’m sure someone with a trading site could possibly hook you up with a download.
Anonymous asked: i just wanna know if you've heard of the phantom reviewer. If you have, what do you think of him?
Indeed I have! :B I respect a lot of his views but I don’t really enjoy his reviews very much. I’m more of a Nostalgia Critic fan myself!
